Beyond all the orchestral magic that Sandeep weaves in for Maar maar, it is essentially flat and monotonous, but, thankfully, the title song gets both right – the sweeping orchestration and a haunting tune, sung by Neha Kakkar. Nannanena and Nodu baare are quintessential Sandeep – lilting melodies arranged beautifully to make for a great listening experience! Roop Kumar Rathod’s deeply pensive Karagadiru too is a charming track – constructed like a resonant ghazal. Wonderful, but short soundtrack from Sandeep Chowta – he doesn’t compose much in Kannada, but after the stupendous work in Telugu Kedi, this is a fitting follow-up.
