‘Speed of Sound’ contribute to the trite bhangra version of the title song and an even more boring Tera woh pyar. Sameeruddin’s version of the title song is considerably better with an ambient sound, much like his Ye jo pal, a zingy track sung by Akshay Verma. His three other tracks, including the English song, Beautiful Day, are humdrum. Satyadev Burman pitches in with the Latino-tinged Tham jaa, with Ranjit Barot’s engaging vocals and Manchali, which works primarily because of Sunidhi’s fabulous singing. His two other tracks are banal, however. With a barrage of songs, Ru-ba-ru’s soundtrack is occasionally engaging.
