Is that intermittent singer in Hey yenmama really Karthik? This excuse of a kuthu-track is as irritating and jaded as the really stupid, Yenna vela, uttered by the composer himself. The title song is the only redeeming factor of this album – not because it borrows a very famous opening line, but because of its refreshing, techno-melodic spin. Oonjaliley is assembly-line nonsense. Considering D.Imman’s only reasonably-listenable attempt was his debut, the Vijay-starrer, Tamizhan, there’s pretty much nothing that can salvage yet-another soundtrack from him. Wonder how long he’d take to get off the mark!
