Himesh chooses a mellow ghazal-like sound for Kitna pyaar and Ishq mein dilko. His vocals show remarkable maturity in the former! Rang dalo is Himesh’s turn to do a holi track and it’s the usual mishmash that doesn’t quite register. Shreya is in top form in the beautifully tuned quasi-religious Purab se. Shivamani’s percussions & Sanjeev Abhayankar in the title song and Pranab Kumar in the semi-classical Bajooband – these are tad too situational to impress as standalone tracks. Himesh shows a starkly different sound away from his routine stuff, in Banaras. But that does not necessarily help the soundtrack.
