Actor Aadhi seems fairly in-tune in the reggae’ish Sokkana ponnu, though his diction is occasionally atrocious. Papparapampam is passable, with it using a droning template with outdated rap phrases. The composing trio had Harris Jayaraj’ish songs even in their , and the short, pleasant Nee sonna falls in that pattern too. Singari sokku lady gets its racy rhythm right, with Krishna Iyer leading the vocals well. Oozhi koothu’s hymn-like sound is interesting, but that’s it. Thozha and YNK theme barely pass muster. Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka’s music is a shade below Prasan Praveen Shyam’s , and that’s not saying much, incidentally.
