Huchudugru (Music review), Kannada – Joshua Sridhar

Prem’s coarse voice goes well with Harakalu angi‘s rhythmic, folk’ish tune, with Joshua using the title in an interesting, catchy manner. Yaaranu kelali gives the by-now-completely-Mano-Murthyed Sonu Nigam a lovely slow, captvating melody sink into! Summaniradene is very, very early-Rahman – engaging tune, sung well by Hariharan, while Saagide nodu‘s dated pathos feel is saved solely by its Charukesi base! It’s Haricharan’s Arare arare that lords over the soundtrack emphatically – this is the sing-along’ish tune that Joshua is well known for! Lovely listen! After Googly, Joshua Sridhar continues to retain his above-average form, but only in Kannada, as usual!
