Aaja aaja‘s retro pop sound is minimal but enticing. Haricharan and Priya Himesh do a neat job and Yuvan layers it with cool sounds! Ranjit aces Kai pesi en kooda, with Yuvan delivering a lovely tune and also holding forth in the interludes confidently! Unfortunately, the Raagangal pathinaaru, a gorgeous tune originally, despite having superb vocals by Karthik, sounds at best like Doordarshan’s card board stage orchestra version. Thankfully, Yuvan treats the title song better – a true-blue remix that includes generous doses of the original and Yuvan’s imagination. MSV’s vocals adds significant value. Frothy and pleasant soundtrack, barring Raagangal!
