Gourov’s grungy title song has Vishal Dadlani’s lyrics and vocals – sung with genuine effort, though the composer doesn’t put in much effort and spits a blah tune. Rahat’s Khushnuma, thankfully, works – gorgeously sweet melody, with Gourov’s trademark atmospheric sound. Jab jab dil is the kind of track that you’d expect Sunidhi to run away from the studio, mid-way, due to sheer boredom, while the very-Pritam’ish Tuhi mere is decent, thanks to K.K’s rendition. Sanjeev Darshan’s guest composition (!), Gangubai is the in-your-face item number; bawdy, catchy, but largely ho-hum. For Gourov, composing before getting knocked-out would have helped.
