Boom boom is insipid. Rootho naa has stereotyped ‘Iyer’ interludes even as the tune is plain boring. Raasta pyaar ka is too fragmented to even comment about, the flat singing adding to the exasperation. Meri jindari is the mild saving grace of this soundtrack, that too thanks to Sukhwinder and Madhushree’s vocals. I do understand Subash Ghai is all out to cut corners in this production considering this is not one of his big budget extravaganzas, but more like an internship project for his film school. But, he could at least have bothered to check the quality of this soundtrack!
