Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (Music review), Tamil – G V Prakash Kumar

Posted by Karthik

Mazhai pozhiyum is pulsating, catchy and well sung by Aalaap Raju; its hooks are adequately addictive. Raman Mahadevan seems like a wonderful choice to lead Oh Sunanda, a gorgeously foot-tapping ballad, with lovely work by the composer in the orchestration! Oru murai works well as a heavily synthesized R&B track, while Mohammed Irfan’s unconventional voice suits the techno-pathos of Yaar aval. Sooku podi, despite Tamil-ignorant star voices like Baba Sehgal and Shruti Hassan, sounds pedestrian. The young composer reserves a delightful tune in Kangal neeyae for Sithara, though the backgrounds overpower the melody. Capably youthful soundtrack from the young composer.
