Huduga Hudugi (Music review), Kannada – Joshua Sridhar & Indrajit Lankesh
Danthada bombena has everything going for it – a instantly catchy, perfectly arranged pop’ish tune and Karthik’s dependable vocals, while Tunta tunti, with its toned down sound works better than the remix’ish title song. But, Illeana is run-of-the-mill and falls flat, however much Joshua tries to build into it with rap bits and enticing sounds. Indrajit Lankesh tries to compose Saathiya…and that includes adding many instruments and making Sunidhi sing an inane Hindi’ish tune. His other song, Usire ninna is no different; but instead of Hindi, Lankesh tries the Mano Murthy sound. Joshua Sridhar barely manages to save Huduga Hudugi.
