The passable title song is reminiscent of the director’s earlier, Chak de phattey, not in its tune, but in its relentless dependence on the hook. Jugni, by Des Raj Lachkani and party starts off predictably but Sneha’s orchestration is mighty funky, much like Master Mahaveer Chopra’s Tu raja ki that shines with cool reggae backgrounds. Dilnahar’s Superchor is comparatively sober and more folk’ish, but again with mod, fusion orchestration. Hooriyan’s tune is staple Punju stuff, but the hip backgrounds surprise again! Sneha Khanwalkar and director Dibakar Banerjee (sharing composing credit!) infuse a refreshingly natty sound to an otherwise staid soundtrack.
